Aamir Khan ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ Trailer Out Now

The trailer of Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par has finally been unveiled on May 13, creating a wave of excitement among fans. Serving as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, this new film comes 18 years after the original and promises another heartwarming tale—this time with a fresh perspective and emotional depth.

In the nearly three-minute-long trailer, Aamir Khan steps into the role of a quirky and spirited basketball coach, leading a team of specially-abled children. The story appears to blend humour, emotion, and inspiration as it charts the journey of these young stars—aptly referred to as “Sitaare”—under his unconventional guidance. Genelia Deshmukh plays Aamir’s love interest, adding a touch of romance to the drama.

The trailer was shared by Aamir Khan Productions on Instagram with the caption, “1 Tingu Basketball Coach, 10 Toofani SITAARE aur unki journey. Watch #SitaareZameenPar #SabkaApnaApnaNormal, 20th June Only In Theatres. Sitaare Zameen Par also marks the debut of several young talents including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar—each of whom plays one of the children on the team.

Directed by RS Prasanna, best known for the hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the film is backed by Aamir Khan Productions. Music for the film is composed by the renowned trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by celebrated lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Sitaare Zameen Par is slated to hit theatres across India on June 20, 2025, and is expected to strike an emotional chord with audiences of all ages.
