Major Update Brings PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Features to PC
Rockstar Games has officially announced a free upgrade for Grand Theft Auto V on PC, set to roll out on March 4. This highly anticipated update will bring exclusive features previously available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, including enhanced graphics, faster load times, new vehicles, and GTA+ Membership access.
The update aims to improve gameplay by introducing ambient animal encounters, a revamped Career Progress system, and Hao’s Special Works (HSW) performance upgrades, making it one of the most significant enhancements in GTA V history.
New Features Coming to GTA V on PC
1. Hao’s Special Works Expands to PC
Players can now upgrade their vehicles at Hao’s Special Works (HSW) inside the LS Car Meet. This feature allows for premium car modifications, exclusive test rides, and high-speed HSW races.
2. Enhanced Graphics and Performance
The upgrade brings ray-tracing technology, improved lighting, and advanced reflections to PC players. Additional support for AMD FSR3 and NVIDIA DLSS 3 will enhance gameplay visuals.
3. Faster Load Times and Improved Gameplay
Thanks to SSD and DirectStorage support, players can expect faster loading times and a smoother gaming experience.
4. Ambient Animal Encounters & Wildlife Photography Challenge
For the first time on PC, players will encounter animals across Southern San Andreas. Taking snapshots of these animals will earn rewards in the Wildlife Photography Challenge.
5. GTA+ Membership Arrives on PC
PC players can now subscribe to GTA+ Membership, which offers:
