Harbhajan is not alone in supporting Rohit. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia also criticized the remarks, stating:
“It’s very unfortunate that such comments come from a person holding a responsible position, especially when India is playing an ICC tournament and preparing for the semi-finals.”
Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also weighed in, calling Mohamed’s comments “outright pathetic.”
