The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a record-breaking prize purse for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) 2023–25 Final, set to be held at Lord Cricket Ground from June 11, 2025. Defending champions Australia will take on South Africa, who make their maiden appearance in a WTC final.

India Finishes Third, Earns ₹12.32 Crore
Despite missing out on the final, Team India secured third place in the standings and was awarded USD 1.44 million (~₹12.32 crore). India’s campaign saw mixed results, including a drawn series in South Africa and a 3-1 series loss to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

South Africa clinched their place in the final with dominant series wins and a crucial home draw against India. Australia, on the other hand, booked their spot after a commanding home summer and series wins away against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
