Paytm (Payment Through Mobile) is an Indian multinational technology company specializing in digital payments and financial services. Founded in 2010 by Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Paytm started as a mobile recharge platform and has grown into a comprehensive financial services ecosystem. The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and operates India's largest mobile payments platform.

Paytm offers a wide range of services including mobile payments, banking, credit cards, insurance, wealth management, and e-commerce. The platform processes over 1.4 billion monthly transactions and has over 300 million registered users. Paytm played a crucial role in India's digital payments revolution, especially after the 2016 demonetization, which significantly increased digital payment adoption.

The company operates Paytm Payments Bank, Paytm Money (investment platform), Paytm Mall (e-commerce), and Paytm Postpaid (buy now, pay later service). Paytm went public in November 2021 with India's largest IPO at that time, raising ₹18,300 crore. The company continues to innovate with QR code payments, soundbox devices for merchants, and financial inclusion initiatives for underserved communities across India.
