Salman Khan Strong Reply to Critics
The much-awaited trailer of Salman Khan ‘Sikandar’ was unveiled on Sunday, and while the action-packed visuals grabbed attention, the film also sparked debate over the 31-year age gap between Salman (59) and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna (28).
At the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Salman Khan directly addressed the criticism, questioning why people had a problem when neither Rashmika nor her family did.
Salman Statement on Age Gap Criticism
During the event, the host praised Salman’s appearance, to which the superstar responded humorously:
“At times, things get messed up, and I don’t sleep for six to seven nights. Then, those social media people start chasing me, so I have to show them that I’m still here.”
Talking about the age gap controversy, he added:
“People say there’s a 31-year difference between me and the heroine. But if the heroine has no issue, and even her father doesn’t have a problem, then why do others? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work with her daughter too. I’ll even get permission from her mother!”
His remark left Rashmika Mandanna laughing on stage, showcasing that the actress herself wasn’t bothered by the debate.
